I’m thankful for the partners above for their research collaboration as well as to my engineering and partnerships team at Northeastern U. for helping develop this regional and national network.
Partnerships at the Roux. The Roux Institute at Northeastern University was formed as an economic engine for the state of Maine and surrounding region. To better engage with industry the Roux has a well-developed partnership team which catalyzes business engagement and supports technology translation. Technology translation. Engineering research at the Roux Institute is often performed for an industry partner (sponsored research agreement) or together through a federal sponsor (i.e. National Science Foundation). Industry alignment ensures that our research is developed with commercialization in mind, and also drives impact through workforce development and job creation. To date, most of Neils’ research proposals are developed with a regional partner.
Please get in touch to discuss collaborative opportunities with our interdisciplinary research team, led by our Director Dr. Jack Lesko. Our group skillsets are diverse and span manufacturing, including Industry 4.0 readiness assessment, automation and the use of data science and AI/ML to improve manufacturing efficiency, polymer chemistry and physics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering and devices, medicine, materials science, chemical engineering, and mechanics.
